Scholarships
are awarded to recipients shortly before or at their
graduation. A scholarship is apportioned out over 4 years of college or
graduate level education.
It must be claimed within 5 years of graduation from
high school or it lapses unless special arrangements have
been made with the Foundation.
If a recipient does not attend college immediately
upon graduation, he or she may still claim the scholarship
at a later time, but it will be available only on an annual
basis and will not be available at all after 5 years have
elapsed.
A
scholarship may be claimed in the following ways:
1.
A recipient may request the annual apportionment
upon submitting copies of the following to the Redlands
Community Scholarship Foundation:
o Letter
of acceptance to an acceptable institution of
postsecondary
education or other proof of enrollment
o Class
schedule
o Student
ID
2.
A recipient may request a check be made payable to
an acceptable institution of postsecondary education upon
providing copies of the items listed above.
The
above items showing proof of enrollment may be sent to the
Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation in any of the
following ways:

recipient is responsible to claim the scholarship for each
year that he or she chooses to utilize it, but may make

apportionments within 5 years of graduation from high
school, that scholarship money will be made available for
future scholarship recipients unless special arrangement
have been made with the Foundation.
